Hanging It All Up

Since we've been back from PA we've made some changes around the apartment, including some easy DIY projects.

Target Clearance Finds

I found these pictures at Target on clearance that I've absolutely loved since the first time I saw them. Since they were on clearance, I had to snag them.

This decorative vase was also on clearance for $4.

Our Wedding "Guest Book" Fingerprint Tree

I found this idea on Etsy. I didn't want a tradition guest book that I'd never look at again. My aunt painted the tree for us as a shower gift and the guests put their fingerprint on the tree as a leaf and signed next to it. I absolutely love it. The only thing it needs is our names on it, which I forgot to ask my cousin to do before we left. Oops!

Hanging It All Up

Yesterday I shared some of our antique finds. We decided to hang some of them up.

I bought this bucket for a dollar at Target. We brought home a bunch of shells from Atlantic City, NJ and I needed a place to put them.

We finally bought a new TV stand. The old one's back legs were broken. We found this one for 50% off at Smith's Marketplace. It's pretty solid.

These moss covered letters were inspired by the moss letters at Pottery Barn. My step-mom made them for us. See below for a picture of them at the wedding - they hung on the pergola my dad made for the bridge.

Love my box cameras!

I bought a shadow box for the skeleton keys I found in the barn. They go perfectly with the art I found at Target. =] I covered the back with scrapbook paper and hot glued the keys on.

Back to the yardsale look in the living room...

We're still slowly, but surely, getting things cleaned up around here. This junk, so wonderfully stacked around the bike, as usual, will be going to the donation center soon.

All of this crap needs a home still...if only we had more storage.
