Our ceremony had no rehearsal prior to. It was kind of a wing-it and go ceremony, which made it funny at some parts. It was fun.
We had 4 women in the wedding -- Chris' two sisters stood on his side and my two cousins on my side. Unfortunately one of my cousins got really sick a few days before the wedding and had to be hospitalized, so she didn't make it to the wedding. I'm so glad she's okay now though.
Chris and I chose the dress colors (horizon and cornflower) from David's Bridal. We wanted them to match my non-traditional wedding dress. I also chose the fabric that their dresses needed to be made from (cotton-sateen) so that they weren't super fancy since that's not what we were going for. They were then free to choose and style they wanted from there. They also chose their own shoes and everyone did their own hair and makeup.
Chris would probably kill me for putting this up...but it's my favorite picture. We played OneRepublic's "Good Life" to walk down the aisle to. He got all choked up when it started playing. Aww...he does love me. =] Or he was crying because he knew it was the end of his life...ha ha!
Chris wore a plaid green, white, and blue button up shirt from American Eagle, khaki pants from Old Navy, and brown Converse sneakers. And because it's all so casual, he still rewears everything today.
My dress was from David's Bridal. I got it on clearance for $99! It's a bridesmaid dress, but I wanted something that wasn't a waste of money and I could rewear again. And since it was an outdoor wedding I wanted something that wouldn't be hot, so I went with a tea-length dress. I wore flip-flops from Macy's that were super comfortable, but unfortunately got ruined in the rain that came later on that night.
My dad giving Chris a little lecture...ha ha.
In 5 minutes it was all over and done. We had a local judge marry us. Everything was just perfect.
We had about 90 people show up for the wedding. I love the rainbow of colors in this picture. Everyone dressed in their own comfortable, casual way.
Tomorrow I'll be sharing the bridal party pictures. If you missed yesterday's post on our wedding decor, click here to see!

Hi there, a very good read and it sometimes just takes someone to post something like this to make me realise where I’ve been going wrong! Just added the site to my bookmarks so will check back now and then. Cheers.
