Great Home Deals on Zulily -- EXPIRED!

This deal has now expired. Hope you snagged one!

Okay. I am really just probably maybe...obsessed...with daily deal websites. It's ridiculous really. I am signed up for so many websites and receive all of their daily deal alert emails every day. By the time I log on to my computer every morning, I have a minimum of 80 new emails. Crazy, huh?

I have a new site to share today. It's called Zulily. They're claim is "daily deals for moms, babies, and kids". I am not a mom and don't have any children, but this website has some really great deals that are also home related. Here are some of the deals I found today that I love so much, I couldn't resist sharing. (Remember: because it's a daily deal website all items are limited in quantity and they could sell out of these items at any time.)

The following deals are under the Blow-Out Event, which ends today:

Laura Ashley - Nancy Large Storage Box $7.99 :: originally $16.00

The MacBeth Collection - Houndstooth Over-the-Door Shoe Organizer $10.99 :: originally $24.00

The MacBeth Collection - Paradise Orchid Ten-Shelf Closet Organizer $10.99 :: originally $24.00

Housecandie - Pool Margarita Waste Basket $7.49 :: originally $24.00

Laura Ashley - Nancy Violet Fashion Rubber Gloves $5.99 :: originally $20.00

The following deals are under Bring It, which ends Wednesday

Orange Lunch Kit $11.99 :: originally $21.00

Mandala Market Bag - Set of Three $9.99 :: originally $15.00

The following deals are under KrankyKrab, which ends tomorrow:

Etsy Store Updates & Addition

As I just posted on the previous entry, I have added an online deals purchased log to my Etsy store.

I have also updated all documents in the store with nicer, matching color schemes. The multi-document packs that are available all match now. I was inspired by design-seeds color palettes and have used some as inspiration to color coordinate my printables.

I also wanted to give official credit (although there is a link at the bottom of the blog and in my Etsy store) to the blog I get my fonts from: Fonts for Peas. All of their handwritten fonts are available for free download and can be used freely with credit given.

New Free Printable: Online Deals Purchased Log

I purchase deals online all of the time. Deals from sites like Groupon, Living Social, etc. that you have to print, always have expiration dates. Usually they expire within 6 months to a year...and sometimes in even less time. It's hard to keep track of everything that I've printed and make sure that I use it before it expires.

I created a printable form to keep track of these deals. I have one version that's really basic that you can download for free here. I have also updated all of the other free printables that I have available for download (except the calendar) with matching fonts and color scheme. Check them out on the free printables page.

I have also created a more "advanced" log that you can purchase from my Etsy store. It comes in vertical or horizontal (your choice) and is set up by month. I am currently using the horizontal document (see picture at very bottom of my example that I'm using in my home management binder). This makes it easy to see what deals are expiring in the up coming months.

New Things Around The House

I've recently purchased or organized some things around the house lately and wanted to share.

The tote along caddy I bought from HomeGoods earlier this month is now our remote holder. So much nicer than moving 3 remotes every time we eat at the coffee table.

I have cutting boards that are food specific -- one set is Casabella silicone cutting boards and I'm not sure what the other set is. I bought it from Housewares Deals though. I decided to hang them inside my cookware cabinet using 3M Command Hooks. So much easier to just grab what I need while I'm cooking when they're hanging separately.

When we moved into our apartment I bought new cookware because our other stuff was cheap and ruined. I decided to splurge and buy Circulon Infinite cookware. I hand wash it so it doesn't get ruined and bought kitchen washcloths to put in between the pots and pans so they don't scratch each other. Genius. (This was actually Chris' idea.)

I am absolutely loving my new office shelf/filing drawer combo and digital picture frame. When I blogged about these two items previously, I hadn't really used the frame. I turn it on every day and absolutely love it. It's so clear and has beautiful color. I can't wait to see what my wedding pictures look like in it when I get the disk. I put the oval tub from HomeGoods on the shelf and have stocked it with office supplies.

I bought a new mat for in front of the sink in the kitchen. (Jazz thinks he needs to be in every picture that involves the floor.) It's a cushiony mat from Target. Absolutely love it. And it's easier to clean than the previous blue rug we had.

We also went to Target this week and bought new lamps for the bedroom. I hated the old ones. They weren't very bright and they smelled like burning plastic when they were on for more than 5 minutes. (Not sure why since they weren't made of plastic.) I've been wanting to purchase these lamps since Target first got them earlier this month, but I didn't want to pay $19.99 a piece. This week they're on sale for $12 each. Score!
